What is a Special Enrollment Period?

window2Open Enrollment ended February 15th for ACA plans (Obamacare).  What this means is that right now you can’t sign up for an individual health insurance plan until the next Open Enrollment period, which starts in November for coverage beginning in January. • You retired.
  • You adopted a child.
  • You just became a citizen.
