Have you gotten your flu shot?

2018 was one of the deadliest years for the flu in decades, according to the CDC, with over 80,000 American victims. Of course I didn’t want my family to deal with the flu, so last week we trekked over to the local minute clinic in one of the national pharmacy chains. It went a lot better than last year. In 2017 we went to another pharmacy’s clinic that happened to be out of network with Read more…

What are these plans? These are lower-benefit, lower-cost health insurance plans that can be used for a specific period of time. They are often used to fill in a gap Read more…

My New Radio Ad

Today I recorded an ad for my business that will be airing on Lightning 100 in Nashville.  Their studio in Marathon Motor Works is a super cool space.  Stephanie Lesher did an amazing job putting the ad together, it took no time at all.  It was a flashback for me from my days as on-air talent back in Iowa during my college years.  Recording an ad for myself was new though.   You might even recognize Read more…

How to Make your Business Thrive When Your City is Growing

As we talked however, I saw his reservation quickly replaced with excitement as he learned just how beneficial offering health insurance to Read more…

Eric Jans on CBS This Morning

I consider being an advocate of my clients to be an important part of my job. When I see something going on in the insurance industry that is creating an unnecessary burden on people I represent, I work hard to bring awareness to that issue. Recently, I’ve been speaking out about the skyrocketing insurance rates that are directly effecting many individuals, families and entrepreneurs. And, as it turns out, people were listening. CBS contacted me Read more…
