This morning Seth Godin explained in few words what I have been trying to tell clients for years about health insurance. Often people hedge their bet against something bad happening; they are willing to spend more to cover the things they imagine might happen. Open Enrollment ended February 15th for ACA plans (Obamacare). What this means is that right now you can’t sign up for an individual health insurance plan until the next Open Enrollment period, which starts in November for coverage beginning in January.
